follow to the letter and in the order listed to avoid damaging the cable.
*********Delete any previous installation of VCDS!
1. ALWAYS: Disconnect the connection of portable Internet before installing and using the software. Disconnect the WiFi card to even search for networks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: antivirus off.
2. Connect the cable to the computer, when prompted drivers detected:
Install only the drivers who bienen disk, giving you in the path manually. -
3. once it is recognized, disconnect the cable from the computer.
4. Install the program "VCDS-Release-Installer.exe" the CD or DVD (only this version, any you can find on the Internet), all default, except for the last screen, where you have to uncheck the "Install USB driver Now "to preserve the driver you selected in the previous step. -
5. Connect the cable to the computer.
6. Connect the cable to the car
7. Put contact without starting.
8. Run the program:
Note: Never connect the cable with another version, either installed or updated, and will override the cable. -
9. Only for the first time:
a. Click on Options -> Port and Protocol Options -> Test.
If all goes well appear in a small screen that says "Interface Found" among other things.
Press Save.
b. NEVER VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: In "Options" tab change the "User Interface and Identification", in the "Check for free updates" select "Do not check for updates" to never check for updates.
Press Save.
10. Now you can use all the features of the program without problems.
ENJOY!!.
