how to enter it? RDS+scan will not lite safe. only turning the potenciometer near FM/AM will light SAFE, but will not enter the code, safe will not blink at all. many thanks :)

1) turn on radio - the word "safe" appears in the display.
2) press the (AS) and (RDS) buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000" lights up in the display.
3)release buttons. Do not, under any circumstances, continue holding them down or press them once again. This would cause the radio to consider the number "1000" to be the input code number.
4)Use pre-set station numbers 1,2,3,4 to enter the code number 0813 on your Radio
5)once the code is shown in the display, press the (AS) and (RDS) buttons again simultaneously and hold them down until the word "SAFE" appears in the display.
6)release buttons. Soon afterwards, a frequency will be displayed.
