DCC issue?

New to this game chaps so help me out please! I have a Vu Optima all working fine using a SKY card and full subscription. MY extra Clines for watching extra football when in Spain are expired. I have new clines but...
I connect DCC 2.96 or 2.95 and get a connection between the PC, the router and the Optima( all green thick lines) but when I press FTP no filers show in the left hand columns. What am I missing please?

try clicking into telnet and see what it says there..

..wrong password perhaps?

...check/turn off any firewall.. and try run as admin if you've got vista/7

why not try another ftp client like filezilla to see if that connects
