hi guys
just an easy one to bring in the new year:rolleyes:
i have 2 single lnb dishes - 19.2e and 28.2e
currently they are connected to an ipbox 900hd via a standard 4 way disecq switch internally at the reciever and all is fine.
i am awaiting delivery of a brand new vu+solo2 as a replacement for the ipbox (which is working ok but has its own issues).
what i would like to do is put the ipbox in the bedroom so i want to know if it is possible to run the two boxes together?
the ipbox is single tuner which i think is loopthrough in and out.
the eagerly awaited vu+ has 2 tuners so i am unsure how the boxes could be connected.
would it be as simple as running a cable from the reciever port of the disecq switch to the ipbox lnb in then another from the lnb out of the ipbox to the solo2 tuner a in?
both boxes dont need to be on at once.
also does the solo2 have an internal loopthrough to connect 1 cable input from a disecq switch with 2 sats on it?
any help appreciated
