Hi, i have just tried tuning in to watch a few channels on Hispasat on 30w and i cannot pick up a single channel. The reception i am getting on my Xtrend ET9200 is '0' - zero! Using the exact multi satellite settings i have used a few months ago which i was able to rceive perfectly, i now cannot pick anything up. I have re-scanned channels and tried altering the multi sat longitude settings but still nothing! Any advise would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Get the ladders out.. Your dish has probably been knocked slightly out of alignment, possibly due to high winds recently.

hi cris808, thanks for your advise...Considering all my other satellites are perfect. Is that likely to be the problem?

No to that one then have you checked that its not a line of sight issue as in has something appeared recently that was not there before hand.
Check Intelsat 907 at 27.5? west which is next door frequency 11495 V 44100 9/10 DVB-S2 these are the BBC trackbacks you wont get a picture but the signal should boom in if you get those then 30? west should be OK unless my previous statement applies

Hi Digicon, i do hope you are well. thank you for your advise which i appreciate. The channels on 27.5w show a signal strength of over 50%. The tuner A lights up in green on my Xtrend ET9200 to indicate the tuner is ok but still no signal strength at all!

i'm assuming that if my dish had moved, dropped or had any other issues it would have affected all my satellites not just 30w...

Are you using usals? Have you tried fine tuning using your remote?

yes i am using USALS. I have been tweaking the longitude settings but still nothing. Really baffled to be honest. Surely if my dish had dropped from its bracket on my chimney stack or moved in the wind it would have affected the other satellites...? I've just realised the same problem exists for 4w satellite!!!

try sending your dish to zero in the menu,s to re-set the table and try again. also try all the sats from 1 west to 30 west to see which ones you get and if the signal levels are as expected. regards mdt
