Can you please tell me if this set up will work?
Room 1: 28.2 on sky box
Room 2: 28.2 and 10e on dreambox
Would it be possible for someone to be watching 28.2e channels in room 1 and somebody in room 2 to watch a different 28.2e or 10e channel without having to turn one box off?

a sky box cannot operate a diseqc switch, so not sure how that would work as it may as well have its own direct feed from the dish anyway (like they normally do)

It would be useless sending Diseqc data to an official receiver as it wont work you only need to take a feed from 28.2? east and one from 10? east to your switch connected to your dreambox

Thanks, I've just placed an order for 1 switch, with your setup above, would i still be able to view different channels in the two rooms at the same time?
e.g. Sky box: Sky channel & Dreambox: 10e channel
or
Sky box: Sky channel & Dreambox: 28.2e channel

Would i need to buy a single lnb?

twin or quad lnb on 28e and single on 10e
switch is used for dreambox for both feeds, and sky box has direct feed from 28e
each box can watch what it wants
