Good day members of DK
Over here in South Africa we see these fault codes on a daily basis when scanning VW polo and bora/golf 3 range from 1997 to 2002 and golf mk1 which all have the Bosch MP9 ecu in them.
I do not know if you have these same mp9 ecu units overseas but if you do and you ever come across these vag fault codes and the vehicle is either running rough or will not idle then there is only one solution and that will be a mp9 ecu reset and throttle body adaption.
This might be old gone and forgotten over where you are but here in SA I have seen so many Techs who can't find a solution to these fault codes and then referring their customers to us. If anyone has had these codes and could not repair them then here is a link with the procedure on how to repair the fault codes including the software needed.
