Good day members of DK
(Audi A4, 1.8t 2004, RB4) Can some members maybe give some advice on this problem. Connected super vag k + can 2 plus to adjust mileage. Didnt change the mileage but tried, didnt work. But now the fuel reserve light stays on now even thought the tank is almost full and the fuel aguge needle is showing the correct fuel level. Checked fuel sender unit in tank and it is perfect. It is only the reserve light which stays on in the dash. Faunlt code in dash is 00438 - fuel supply sensor 2 G169 (open circuit or connected to plus. Could anyone help with this problem?
Many thanks in advance

I don't know what's your cluster, but some VAG clusters can be coded for 2 individual fuel supply sensors. Usually only one is connected. Probably you had enabled the second one which of cause isn't connected.

Alright. So if you have the car again in your workshop, post the dump and the coding of the instrument cluster.

Thanks my friend I will do that. Thank you. I have a feeling that the dump is corrupted.

Connect to cluster with VCDS and check codding and adaption channels , may be you can change fuel sensor- one or two sensors activated.
