Audi A3 2007 micronas dash swap

Hi friends,

I had bad luck with this car after use the digiprog one it result dash is totally dead.
After that I have tried to restore with 2 different Xprogm's and one r250 with no result so there was no option left then exchange the dash
the new dash is one its way to me and is a used one.
My question to you guys is what is the easiest way to adapt the new used dash.
Engine ECU is siemens PPD 1.2 pincode is known and the first six component security data.
Any help is appreciated.

You will not be able to learn the dash to ecu with VCDS. Dealer can maybe do it if dash is 100% compatible.

Have you read flash and eeprom with xprog? If yes upload it.

As far as I know Tango only has this feature.
Digiprog cannot damage mcu just via OBD.
You maybe have damaged during connecting xprog/r250 or connected it wrong

you just had to remove battery for a few minutes...

There is new release of bdm adapter C+ - for fix problems with a3 dashes for xprog. I did few with ori xprog no problem.
The best option for you is to get used dash adaptation at main dealer, should take not over 30min (1h max) There is vin stored in donor clocks anyway just in case.
Now everything goes online for vag cars so make sure that donor dash is not from stolen car !!

No, the dashboard data is crypted. You cannot decrypt it without having the Micronas flash data.

VVDI immoplus can read the immo data to file but not write it to dash ;)

Today I have received the new cluster and one new metal box Xprogm and guess what still not able to read the micronas.
What am I missing here 3 Xprogm and 1 R250 are they all faulty.

As your Xprog is now working, try to read the original dash!
Then it will be very easy to copy immodata

I don't have a valid key from new dash I was able to adapt keys from old dash key number 3 and 4 with immoplus software one the keyreader from vvdi interface without making it first dealer key I don't now if it will work.
What do you think?

VVDI will write everything as it is just adding the transponder ID. The keys will not work. You need to use new transponders and make new dealer key for this dash first. Then add them via key adding function of vvdi.

Your old keys for the old dash are locked. Data in the transponder cannot be changed!
It can be used if you use original immodata only!

As you have used dash with different immodata now, it will not work with the old keys. You need to get new Megamos48 transponders and make dealer key with vvdi + add them.

Your used transponders will never work with the new immodata.

Today I have recived new transponders and adapted them succesfully to the dash.
With the engine ecu connected I get safe one mileage display one the dash when engine ecu is disconected there is no safe.
Also there is permanent engine start blocked by immobelizer foult code one the engine ecu so there must be some foult with immo data one engine ecu.
Can someone please help me to solve this.

Writing MAC to ECU isn't best way. Easiest and 100% working way would be to scan last CS byte from key and write original immodata to new dashboard.
Search for somebody with Tango programmer in your area. Give him original key from car + 6bytes of CS. He can give you last byte and everything will be solved easily.

Can you tell me something,
When you clone file form ECU,
did you write file to EEprom of the dash with programer or with ODB?
Also what file you need to insert in ECU Teacher , eeprom or flash?

Yes price is good, but you need to have Car Prog to read file. Program works only with Car Prog file.
