Hi
exist any soft or tool that can turn off MAF or EGR on VAG edc15/16 "on the fly"? At this time i know, that is possible only reade flash whit galletto, make changes whit winols and write back flash to ecu.
But one man tell me today, taht he have problem whit MAF (always get error 17965, car in safe mode) but someone repait this problem in 3 minutes. Connect cable to car, make some changes an car dont have any more this problem.
Any idea?

That error code is not maf related :roflmao::roflmao:

That code is nearly always caused be a sooted up and sticking VNT machanism inside the turbo.

I think this man with a cable must be raising the SVBL to dangerous levels.

That is easy to do, but you should then order a new turbocharger very fast.

It can not be good. Who have tuned this file didn't find SVBL, didnt close EGR,.... So the bottom line is that this guy don't know lot about tuning. :D

I would search ori file and make tuning on basis of ori file.

Make some logs,.....

Bad file can damage your engine that for sure.

not closing egr or not changing svbl don't mean that the tuning is bad ...
it's only bad if you want the most hp possible for little increase it's not need it's better to know about advance and iq etc
not changing a svbl is better than rease it to much
not close egr or dpf off can also been the customer choose

I agree with you kennfeld.

I have found ori also:

Boost is increased for 15% in mid range (2000RPM/30mg) I would like to see the boost spikes on this car (N75 is untouched) :). In high range the boost is increased 6% - OK.

SOI map it seems to be copied from some ware (?), but OK its also not so bad, some additional advantage in high IQ range.

Boost and Smoke limiters OK.

Torque limiter lifted to the seal. :stupid: (still limited by MAF and MAP).

On basis on quick review I would say that its not so bad, SVBL was untouched (too close to max value in Boost map), but I would except some major overshoots in rapid accelerations.

I'm not pro, not even close but still my opinion. MAKE SOME GOOD LOGS WITH VCDS TO BE SURE !!!

But don't worry, this is just my opinion :)
