VW PASSAT 2005 sat nav cd ?

Hi there im looking for a link or info for which cd i need for my sat nav. i have the inbuilt radio/sat nav in vw passat 2005


i believe though not 100 percent it is navtec 7b map / dvd for uk i need ?

Can anyone enlighten or help ?

I downloaded the vw navigation cd 7918 which is the latest v9 cd but it would not work !! It is NOT a rns510 i realised later !

Any help or step in the right direction would be appreciated thanks

i did a little more research and i have found what i needed .

the radio is an mfd2 ad i have located the maps now .


Anyone else with the same, i'm happy to share links ..
