Hi guys, i'm looking to remove the DPF on the above vehicle EDC16C9, is the DPF contained in the Flash or the MPC processor, thanks.

you should be ok with just the flash,and then when you remove dpf on file just use diag to reset the rest.

Just read a few posts on this ecu, it has a Motorola MPC556 controller on board. Can this be read with the same pinouts as the EDC16c39 ecu with xprog? ECU part number 0281011915. I can i.d. the unit with byteshooter and only have xprog to read via bdm, as i am waiting for a new bdm100 to come in. If i post the i.d. could someone upload a full read file standard bin file? Thanks
