can some 1 let me know if this is what i need as i have black xbox 360 250gig. going to read and c what to do with drive ect. just not want to pay 15pound for something not needed. also just want to play games via 500gig hdd. as think my pc is just a multi recorder. not sure on if supports 8g dvds

Are you trying to play games directly from a hdd? If you are then you'll need your 360 to be jtagged. The ck3 kits are only for drive flashing as far as i can tell.
