Which is the best internal hard drive to buy to fit inside an DM800. Is there is minimum or maximum size that you can fit om.Where is the best place to get one from please

I put a solid state drive in mine, works perfectly and is oooober quiet , bit dearer but worth it in my opinion

You can use whatever 2.5" SATA disk you like.

Size is up to you, you can count that it takes about 1 GB per 1 hour of recorded material in SD, for HD even more.
