hi, I havce bmw e90 with elv steering lock problem. Cas faults are a0aa, a116 and a0b5.

I need to reset elv counter from cas eeprom dump.
Please help.

Hi bro, but if you have a problem in the cas, the problem is not the elv, so you need to code cas again, the problem occurs after you reads or write cas?????????????

problem started after car battery went flat i was told by customer. cas was not read/write by anyone. I only now read cas, not write anything. I only want to reset elv counter from cas dump.
Is this not the solution? or should i be repair cas flash ??

for reset elv counter from cas

Thanks for the tip. I used cas.prg, because elv.prg didnt work.

I now get ignition and car can start , but now steering lock does not engage when key is out and i get yellow steering lock light. Any ideas ? . new steering lock or did i do something when using tool32.?
