Please help with faulty ECU for toyota avensis

This old ECU is faulty, is it possible to get a new similar ECU and change the eprom from old ECU to a new ECU will the car start??

the key id is stored in 93c56 , it is should work

no need to swap the eeprom from old ecu to new,if is new ecu no keys in eeprom,short pin4&13 for key registration,in some case you'll need to touch the battery terminals together and turn the key to start position for at least 5seconds before key registration
