Local recycling yard called me and they have a 1999 Lexus Rx300 with no keys. I know I can read the ECU and erase the key codes and program a new key. People are talking about 4C keys and I have found them on ebay from around $20 USD. I was wondering what the difference is between the "short" 4C keys and the long keys with the door lock/unlock transmitter. What will I need for the car and can I program 2 4C keys?

Long, med, short blade go by code series. The long blade 8 spaces with 5 depth with a valet cut on the tip. Med,short 6 spaces with 3 depth with a valet grove on the edge of key. I
Only use 2 style med and long ( short is to close to the dash as you need to push in to release key )
