I have a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.9 ddis with dpf faults. It has error code p242a for the pre turbo egt sensor. As a result the dpf has not been regenerating as required. I have dpf-off map on the car now however I still get the fault for the egt.
I have tried unplugging the sensor but no good code comes back. Does anyone know the correct value of resistor to put in place to simulate the egt sensor? I have measured the resistance of a good egt sensor (pre dpf sensor) however it is a very high value, approx 8.7k ohms at temps of 150 degrees, I am unsure if this is accurate.
Thanks
