:boring:Hi,i want to know if i can rewrite eeprom (95640WQ)rirectly on the board or if i need to remove from the board,because i have carprog and i can read direct ship on board but for rewrite after carprog check error occured (verification error),can be this unit have writing protect if someone wnow i need help,thanks.

Hi take the eeprom out stick it to xprog and there be no problem to re wright.

This eeprom reads and writes directly on board without removing 100 percent, i use dataman or hilo whitout any problems always, driver goes bad most of the time and has to be changed also
