Renault Master 2007 Tacho Removal

Hi one of my customers has taken the tacho out of a 2007 renault master and i then put a dataset in the dashboard from a non tacho vehicle but the miles still dont show everything works dials etc and trip and mpg just wont show miles is exactly the same with a used cluster just wondering if there is a wire in the dashplug that can be cut to stop dash looking at tacho for miles thanks.

How about looking at the plug that goes into the tachograpoh.
Has it got can hi and can lo wires?

maybe twisted together, if so, try connecting can hi to can hi and can lo to can lo.

Not sure whether these are canbus or not?

See if you can source a wiring diagram.
