well there really is sod all for that machine... Maybe you could email Sharp support about it... Other than that you will need to connect up a CD and boot up a prog to interrogate the laptop and list all the hardware you can then download the drivers individually from various locatiosn as and when you find them...

nige is right theres is nothing about for that machine.

but there is a driver disc for win xp/vista that has loads fo drivers on it. I would suggest trying to get a hold of this and trying that.

Hardware specs for that should be as follows.

CPU Mobile AMD Athlon™ XP 1700+ (1.46 GHz)
Chipset Via Notebook chipset
Memory 256 MB SODIMM
CD / DVD Drive Matshita UJDA740 DVD-ROM / CD-R/RW Combo Drive
Video / Graphics Card S3 ProSavage 16MB DDR
Monitor 15" TFT (1024 x 768)
Sound Card Avance AC'97
Modem Lucent soft modem AMR
Network Card VIA PCI 10/100 fast ethernet adapter
PC Card 1 x Type I / Type II PC Card
Ports Sharp PC - FS2417 ports
Case Sharp Actius case information
Battery Sharp PC - FS2417 battery

So now just match the drivers to fit what you are missing.

PC world crapola.

PC World carry the savage3 and via drivers. Avance AC 97 drivers should be easy through google. Lucent modem drivers will give you some problems finding correct ones. I'd surgest googling "unkown device". Grab the software from top link and running that, it should give you chip numbers and manufacturer info for the modem.

Nice find there.

Another option would be to get the motherboard model number and google it. That should cover most of the hardware in it
