Frend do you know what's Navigation system in your Car !?
You have probabl BMW Professional or BMW Business navigation system

For update software Professional or Business navigation systems, you have to go in BMW service to do that, cause you can't do that!

icom to upload if its hard drive based which iam thinking it is

You can update maps via DVD or usb (latest upgrade on CIC?) and than you need a fsc code for map. For fsc pm me.
