I used to use Martech for these but I haven't opened the lid on a single Ford "V" code unit to decode it since I bought this:

Ford 6000CD by Visteon car radios decoding tool by OBDII (http://www.codecard.lt/car-radio/ford-6000cd-by-visteon-car-radios-decoding-tool-by-obdii-updated-with-new-radio/prod_570.html)

It works by OBD on later Ford models and works by Can lines with an OBD power adapter on the test bench with the earlier models. :)

LOCKED also works by code off and then code back on.

I thought about Martech or CarProTool but it seems that the carprog is better solution (via OBD). Thanks for the suggestions.
