Hi Dk Friends,

I've got a colt 2002 model with keys lost.
I've read the 24c01 and made a key with tango but car cranks and still don't start.
Engin management light comes on solid and stays solid. Even if you turn unprogrammed key it comes and stays solid.
Is there something wrong with ecu or what could it be.
I've disconnected battery for tonight and will go back tomorrow.
Thanks for advise and trying to help.
Please help

try plugging mvp in and communicate and leave on for 35min and then try and program same chip in, also do a battery reset, also use a 4c carbon chip, i had one similar problem, cant remember what the light was doing but immo was locked from turning ignition with unprogrammed key. if i remember correctly when mvp showed that immo was not locked anymore, i took out immo and read the eeprom again and used a 4c carbon chip and it started up.
hope this helps some

Engine was cranked with no transponder. What box. Immo or computer box. It is 4C Because used tango to write key and was told to use 4c Chip m8.
Management light stays solid with or without transponder key.
Not flashing fault codes. Could computer box be locked or what

does your machine say prohibit start and no connection to ecu, if it does , take battery terminals off and do a hard reset, plug in tester and comunicate and erase faults and leave diagnostic device on for 35min and try and code key, if it says wrong id but it does not say start prohibit anymore, then remove immo and use tango with a new 4c carbon, the zedbul and tpx1 did not work on this one, mine was also locked up from trying to start vehicle with non transponder key and i managed to get it going, was also told to replace immo but managed to get it going, regards

M8 first of all read this:

Important: an attempt to run engine using invalid keys may cause the immo becomes blocked.
To activate immo turn Ignition ON for 40 min.

only after that, read your dump and make one new key!

Good Luck

Made key under galant m8.
I will leave ignition on for 40min and then do key again.
Will report back.
If I get another immo box can I just make key and plug back in or do I have to align with computer box.
Thanks to all that is willing to help
