No, I had 2011.3.5, but I have completely uinstalled it (registry clean, certificate...)... Might be problem there?

Try before installation choice English and country Sweden when you finish all procedures u can change language in settings menu

everything up to date on windows ie. net frameworks ?
did you try %appdata% roaming Autocom
also try installing by open computer select drive that iso is on right click run as admin

only on old two plates you can change serial nuber

thank a lot for the activation xml file that work ok, but i have same problem, this vci that a very orible china clone, is imposible to updgrade the firmrware also when i use the delphi 2012r3 with original firmaware and with the firmware of 2013r1, same problem the vci is recognized for the soft, but is imposible to upgrade the firmaware, i have use the first time autocom 2013r1, i have activated the soft, but this vci also the first time was not recognized in regular mode, tha soft see the vci on com3 and also on com4, but only in com3 test ok, but upgrade imposible, the soft on test tell me that vci is model autocom20a, number of series indefineted --?--, generic obd60,firmware version 201, after i have used 2 different pc with xp and windows 7 , but same problem with 2013r1, i now find link for to download 2011 version and make a finally test with this version of soft, if also with this version i have the same problem, i go to buy another vci from a seriuos reseller, thank a lot for your help, excuse me for disturb .

Your ATmel ATTiny45 chip is probably faulty, you need new reprogammed one, or you can try to resolder and check for bad soldering or drops on PCB>

I have resolved, i now use delphi 2013r3, this find the vci immediatly, i have update the firmware and all work ok
I want tell to all friends here, thanks, for your help, and for any suggestion.
