Golf 3 VR6 RPM limiter

Can somebody please locate rev limiter in this file from G3 VR6 M2.9?

what is the current rev limit ? around 6500 ?

according to vcds log 6560, but it has also one 6960 in the log.
according to cluster it is around 6500

i thing rpm must be 16-bit word , hi byte first and formula is rpm = 15000000 / dec value
so factor is 15000000 or 30000000 i am not shure but you can try

rev limit is at A555 ... compare the pattern and you will find it

i tuned exactly the same ecu (258A) few weeks ago and found it without problems, but cant find it in this one

test please, i put the limiter on 7200 rpm

gad3n are correct, formula is dec-value*40

(chk not corrected)
