Hi all

At this moment I have amiko alien 2 twin tuner. Good box but spark has its kinks e2 is full of bugs. I was thinking of giving it to my in-laws so looking for another twin tuner.

Anybody recommend a cheap twin tuner box. Recording one channel watching another. Don't mind about thecam software. As long it's easy to do.

Prefer if possible also to have a 7 day epg.

Max budget ?200 no more.

I've seen a optibox spider hd box twin tuner. But there actually no information on this box and what it is capable of doing. Anybody shed any light and if its good.

Anybody got any recommendations and possible where to buy it from advise.

Thank you.

Hi get the vu+ duo great box I have one as my main box put my own 500gb hard drive in and can do everything as you expect from a s*y+ hd box once setup properly. Go here for a cloned version if ya on a budget http://ukdreamshop.co.uk/prestashop/v/10-v.html

Hope this has helped you in your decision making ;)

i agree with aviz06, i to have a duo.
loads of help now for these box's and can be set up like a sky box, ( or as close as possible), mines a clone,( cost me ?130) and touch wood have had no problems, have had it for about a year now.
but have a read around, because i know some peeps have had nightmares with the clones.

if you could spare about ?80 more, you would get the real thing, without the hdd.
