Hi guys , been lookin at a different couple of hd boxes always said i wouldnt move away from linux but just had a mess with a skybox f3 and have to say for fifty quid im impressed , anyonw got any opinions on thse boxes ?:eating:

Theyve a habbit of just stopping....dont attach your sat feed to the box while powered up as it could blow.
Wifi is crap on em but as you said,50 quid.
Some peeps doing good channel lists aswell.
If your looking around for a decent single tuner box then get a Vu solo,plenty of support etc.
Hung up my itgate aswell a few months back as HD is the way to go now.

Itgates,f3,s,.openboxes are ok bedroom boxes,.. as freck said vu sols/duo E2 boxes are the way to go,.with 1channel,bbci player,itv player plugins,if sat goes you can always use it as a streaming box

Upstairs- Itgate,Openbox, Dbox2
Downstairs- vu duo and icloud(vusolo,clone of a clone)

Nice mept , have set up a couple of vu boxes but can't stretch the cash that far for myself at the moment But don't like the sounds of skybox just stopping etc

dont go for vu+duo clone crap boxes.
i have the duo and solo original and the new max 1000 hd better specs than the solo lol all running vix.
