Hi guys i have a problem that you may be able to help me with

i have just bought some chunky 4ft posts from b&q problem is there not the type that are anchored to the frame of the decking so i will be fitting straight on top ' been mulling about this for a while but not sure what would be the strongest solution

You could use Bolt Down Post Anchors, they sell them in B&Q...

Well, you'll probably have to use post anchors to give them any chance of staying up.... Suppose you could hide the anchors, how about plastic fake rock around the bottom, so it looks like the posts are in a rock, or some planters (pots, tubs), so it looks like each post is bedded in a planter...

Or just box the anchors in with some decking ..

Well they look like an ideal solution, if there's a stockist of them or a similar product in the UK..
