pin from dash dumps

hi guys
can u look at the dumps here

i have pin codes but would like a second opinion :)

one puzzles me tho
i get from avdi 168 !!

now do i put 00168 in vcds to do adaptations ?

clocks are to go in a vw golf 4 2001
orig set is RB8 clocks
spare set has the lcd screen in the middle
ive read both eeproms using avdi

i know avdi has the option to virginise teh dash too
but not sur ehow to code it into the car and adapt the 1 key he has.

car orig lost its keys.

The best way is to go with Virgin file , I will show you how to do this with Virgin file but need to know is it car 2001 or 2002.It looks like car is 2002.
Is this VIN of the car:

hi with the color clocks in the car my AVDI has the option on it to virginise the clocks
its deffo a 51 plate. but ill double check with my mate what year it is
and yes thats the correc VIN number
ive put the orig ecu in there also

but only getting code 168
it cant be 0168 can it as they are all 5 digits long

If the VIN is same then he does not know what year his car is.
10th number is year when car was made:
WVWZZZ1JZ2W323682
2 = 2002.
Pin shoving 168 , because lot of tools will not show 0.
But you need to put 00168 in VCDS.
Anyway Virgin that 946C cluster, if you don't you will end up with 2 VIN numbers in cluster, old and one form the car.
Use this video , but you do not need to log in in New cluster if is Virgin, skip that and go straight to adaptation ch50 ,put Old pin (00168) and do rest what video shows:

After that you need to do Key matching :

Make sure you have new chip regular id 48 .

doubt its teh canbus one tho

im thinking its a 51 plate but registered in 2002 tbh

ok trying to adapt new clocks to the car
when i login using the clocks orig pin code 02982
then go into adaptation
chan 50
its says pin top left box
to i type old pin in 00186 and click test
no vin numvers are cuming up in the top box
it says disabled !!!
i dont think avdi is virginising these clocks btw

any more pointers

You may have Immo off in ECU.
Go to 01 Engine and read adaptation ch 91 and post what number you have.

ive sorted it now mate
i bit the bullet n put his orig clocks back in
then put new blank (48) in the key
and adapted new key and bling bling
