hi, i'm new to xbox i got a 20gb console. i just wandered if you could connect an external hard drive to xbox via a usb connection. and does saving games to tour hard drive reduce the risks of getting the red ring of death?....

No mate, you cannot connect up an external hdd.

i have a Western Digital passport and i can connect that and listen to music and watch vids (if in the right format) form it! dont know about saving games though!
