Maximum 50 code-clears for ECU PP2000 Peugeot 206

Hi

I've read in some places that when you get a code through diagnostics machine, you can only erase these codes 50 times.
If you do more than this, ECU dies! Is that true?

I also read it depends on the ECU, but not sure which ones are affected or not.

how I can delete the history?

Depends on the year. from about 2003 this counter is active some models even max 40 counts.
The ecu doesn't dy only you can't erase fault codes.
This can only be removed in the internal EEprom or EEprom area from flash.

ECU doesn't die, you can erase the codes but you can not store them anymore in the ECU as history.
