If i was to buy the above box, with firmware and channel list already installed. Would it just be a case of buying 1 more thing to get the best out of the box.

Also is it risky to run one of these boxes on Sky Unlimited Broadband.

nope to get the best out of the box you want a motorised dish :)

answer to the second part of your question,in my opinion I would not risk connecting to sky unlimited broadband with these boxes as you are actually using it to obtain certain channels [if that is your intention] as sky do monitor their broadband and internet traffic..

Well am stuffed as I just signed a 12 months contract with sky lol ach well lol.

your not stuffed.. get a linux box and a motorised dish and you will get 90% of whats out there,regards mdt

vu+solo clone and motorised dish pack for about ?250 delivered then install it yourself and bobs your uncle,regards mdt
