Problem in this car after modify is ecu coding, solved by recode with IDS. To avoid this read by BDM.

I think if you dont know how to recode with ids that you have i dont think this job is for you my friend !!
I have tryed to help you with this job you have still not told me if you have malfunction on dash or not ?????

To mark the panel lights failure.The ECU engine DTC P1187 not working more 3000 speed.What happened after flash MPPS. Expected delivery from China VCM IDS Ford.I have experience in recode other dealers diag.

Ok you will need ford vcm thats capable of programming mode ....

1) login to car
2) Toolbox
3) Module Programming
4) Programmable Module Installation
5) PCM follow screen info ( it will say install new module but no need!! go ahead and install yours!!

It will download infomation to pcm job done !
The dealer tool makes a full PCM flash including erase so it makes full flash and repairs it....even if you try to put original file back in with your tuning tool it will not correct it !!! dealer tool only fix.. or bdm flash sure

Read again with your tuning tool then have it modded for your dpf off

Then try flash dpf off file in to it see how you go , i have seen this happen few times b4 .

I try to make more and more parameter the last day before and even if I try to reconfigure PCM via IDS, error go up again and again. I have original tools and dpf is more problem. Problem is P1187 who have always go up...
ECU is EDC16C34 ... I try to recover it with BDM but my file seem corrupt.
When I try to reconfigure PCM with IDS I have code from Dealers like this:

PCM1 FFFF FFFF 0310
PCM2 .....................
until PCM9

and other module too.

always this P1187 go up when car is wake up.....

Anyone can clear this ? have THE solution ?

share your dump we try erase this fault and maybe all be fine.

hi, I already had this problem, only solution is official ford update software. Next time do backup in bdm before. And don't use mpps, is better magpro or fgtech 2, with second write 11times without problems

This DTC is Variant Selection, solution is recode with IDS. If you can?t do the job go to dealer, i do it once and pay 30 euro but problem solved.

My dealer is not the same as your ! mine change ECU ....

if it was only 30 euro ..... it can't be important
