The euro clones were good.

It seems the first of the China clones were good too.

The China's I have come across x 3 recently do not work . People I know also bought duds.

One doesn't have enough voltage on flash line. One don't work in any way at all , one was fixed with a blow gun.


Where can working units be bought ? , when I mean working I mean tested on ecus before shipping

Ducatisti how many volts do you feed the units to work properly? Some give 12.5 some other 13.5 volts is that right for clone device? :proud:

Hi,
I got mine from gocardiag reads ok won't write S3000 or read Delphi (renault 1.5 diesel) tried different value resistors without luck. Another member said the connection diagram I was using was good.

Resoldered all the board as some solder through joints were not brillient = no difference

with the voltage-i think its the voltage from the piasini(programming voltage)---some units dont reach the desired voltage to give a good flash.

I brought 1 from gocardiag and it does not work. Cant read a mazda denso with jtag. I have emailed jo about it and waiting for a reply.

for mitsubushi ecu you need 15v on yellow line and 12-12.5 on red. i have seen no black unit with correct voltage only silver ones. the silver units i found work for k line , can bus and programming voltage but not j tag

Is there realy diferents from Silver to Black?

is the Software the same by all clones

Mine is black with red label (meant to be quality A). Should of brought the silver 1 as it was cheaper!!! Here is repair guide I got from Jo. Not tested it yet.

Not many things to do other than K-line with +12v batt. (regulator), so have done only to +12v supply line. As Piasini needs always to be fed with external +12v, no idea why they have to have bulit-in DC-DC convertor (for 12v). I mod it the way FGTech does but with transistor auto switch controlled by the existing 12v line. Now it can handle any ECU consumption as long as your regulator does. If some needs a circuit I will detail.

I have the Black One. It Starts Reading and after few minutes it stop with error wireing connection
