Hello Friends.
I need to change an engine ECU to a VW Amarok 2011. The Original ecu for this vehicle has been stolen by foreign hands.
The customer has purchased a used ecu, will be possible pairing of the engine ecu with immo?
I'll be very grateful if anyone can help me replace this engine ecu.
the vehicle has all its original accessories, including the key. just missing the engine ecu.

That is EDC 17 and at momonet there is no tool it can adopt Used ECU, unless you have CS which is in most of thae cases not possible to have it.
Best option is to do immo off.
Those guys should be able to do it if you read Flash and Eeprom, but I heard it is not cheap:

I did a MED17 a few weeks ago and that works with avdi.
EDC17 works in the same way.
You can't change the OTP contents of the tricore so normal cloning won't work.
You get checksum errors.
