I have always used the dp3 for assyst on w211.
But find sometimes it puts the rewritten services in the wrong order.
Just added the assyst programme to my carprog [original]
I have a spare ZGW on the bench and was wondering if there was any unusual traits with the software!
[I dont have option MNO15 on my Arbrites,]

actually, Arthur is the train buff,he cant keep away from them]. Correct, I have a "family and friends rail card" which I use about 4 times a week. Saves me a fortune. It enables me to afford proper equipment. Not really interested in driving a train though, Will stick to my Hornby dubl0. I keep crashing my Deltic. Arthur.

2) Would love to see the 'removeable piston'

if the (IN-correct) data is in the wrong order with DP3 could you not have
'corrected' it in a different order, eg service 1, 3 then 2?

yes of course, thats what I have been doing for the last.....years!
I spend a long time getting it right, to the point of obsession.
Was looking for a speedier solution. It is only these older vehicles I am looking for solution for.
I will probably get mno15 on abrites, but was intruigued to know how carprog assyst will perform.

So 'why' buy the software if you only intreasted in the older ones?
surly you must have IN-corrected enough of them to be able to figure out whilat off-line?

I didnt say I was only interested in the older ones. quote.."It is only these older vehicles I am looking for solution for."
The later ones are done very well with the dp3.
What if you want to write say 6 services, thats the kms, the days, the distances between them, the time between them. the oil changes ditto, etc. Sure you can spend 3 hours modifying the lines in the dump manually.
But if you look at codecard website you will see its a lot simpler.
I realise lots of DK members want to do this job wothout spending more tha ?4.19.6d on equipment.
DP3 will do the earlier assyst plus and assyst, but its not a perfect way of doing them.
Arbrites MNO15 probably is the best way.
[I]I AM NOT LOOKING FOR THE CHEAPEST SOLUTION TO ANY JOB.
JUST THE BEST WAY

well for four pounds 19 shillings and 6 pence just buy a black and decker drill to wind the speedo cable back, :vroam:
could you not have some 'ready made dumps' this service that service the oher
ask punter for VIN in advance or even a script for upa?

On W211 you can use X12-Programmer1.54 software with out hardware.
-Open programer
-choose W211 ZGW
-load file in programer
-modified what you need
-click on "Anderungen ubernehmen"
-after you do that It will bring "Unable to open the port "
-Press OK
-the press [ SAVE]
- it will automatically save file where is software located in your computer
- open that file again and you will see all changes are there
If you have file with 4kb, then all you need to do is copy modified address to original file , because programer save only 2kb.

If yout impainat slimey merc driver has driven too many miles and needs it IN-correcting, sake of argument it has done 80 K and never had a service
you ask him what it wants IN-correcting and his VIN to he says
35K and serviced every 6 K
you edit your 'ready made dump' add his VIN and edit to what he want's it IN-correcting to.
what is the 'problem' with that?
