Alfa 156 2.4 175hp checksum error

Hello,
I have an alfa 156 2.4 20v which is reading p0601 on diagnostics, also is a little bit smokey as actual air quanity is almost double of desired air quantity (have checked MAF, replaced with brand new genuine part, and have also tried the car with MAF unplugged)

I have been told I need a new ECU, but am hoping I can rescue it by reflashing it.

Car was remapped before I got it, so do not have its original dump, but I have checked the dump I have read from OBD and it checksum's fine, but still gives p0601 error.

SW is 1037372042

Hello, thank you for the original, from the look of it, is is OBD read.

Is there any that are BDM, as I think external flash (where maps are stored is ok) but internal eeprom may be corrupt.

OK, I tried the original on the car today, and still get p0601 checksum error which has proven that internal eeprom has become corrupt.
