Kryptview green screen, and lock up.

Hi there,

Just want to say I'm sorry if this has been covered but i cant find it. Please link to it if it has been covered.

I hate asking for help but here is my problem.

I have a kryptview box with the latest firmware on it downloaded from here, and the box will freeze with a green screen and the led will show a single number on it, ranging randomly from 0 to 6.

At this point i have to get off my arse and unplug it then plug it back in. Sometimes it will be ok for a few hrs but a lot of the time the box will freeze again with a green screen before i have even sat back down.

Has anyone has this problem before? If so how did you fix it?
Does anyone know of a solution?

Flash the latest firmware and see if that fixes it.

I already have that firmware installed.

When doing a scan the signal is so inconsistant, jumping from 0 to 75-80, could this be the problem?

it may have been a bad flash, do it again and see if any different. did you have same problem on old firmware?

press menu -instalation- and do a factory default then rescan box with some soft ware you have to do this it should be fine if you follow these instuctions but let us know how it goes
