got one with P0402 no vacum supply this has been sorted

on diagnostic still shows egr 99% at all times should be 65% at idle

would it be safe to leech and use this dump - same car.

Darwins did engine light go out?

This is the method i use. It wasnt my development work. I found it online somewhere.

Look the hex dump in 8bit Text mode.

Set the number of columns to 10.

Look for: 001 001 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048 string.

The first 001 is EGR Switch with/without (1/0).

The second 001 is Boost Control Switch with/without (1/0).

I have Tested on C5 and picasso both 2.0HDI you do need to remove the vac control pipe tho. May be able to unplug solonoid valve without codes after disable. I haven't tried I always replace pipe to egr with short vac line plug.

After you turn the switch to off you have to disconnect the plug from valve cause there's going to be permanent +12 on it.

Well at M-H-M we just unplugged the plug off the valve and yunked the outlet off the pipe

Meant to check beforehand and forgort after LEECH cleared codes said

"16 of 40 so far, kid" or something, meant to check and forgot.

used gallleto 1260 (Clone) was much 'happier' using it than KWP2000 (CLONE) - saved it like 4 times incase of problems

Went on road test no light - not had time to read but *THINK* we are aiming for

1) brake lite switch -
2) VAN fault,
3) ???? PERMENAT (DUE to EGR off)

Costomer says might be 1 houtr or might be a week before it flaggs, has been else where before M-H-M.

What was your problem with yours, have you read codes again?

Done 6 miles that's all.

Permanent egr code. egr had been replaced. no airleaks maf had been done and wiring checked good...

That's sounds like feeling od dejau vous.

Now unlike that Mercedes E200 you had to let the costomer down BIG STYLE, because some tosher passworded it all, does it not make you feel better your un passworded file has already (assuming it's fixed) has already helped another DK member - well helped another DK members boss line their pockets!
