View Full Version : CAS3 Red Box File Conversion to bin and back ?

Hello Friends.

I like this red box CAS3 tool but the files read are not helpful for ISN work, spent loads of time trying to read a CAS2 today as I did a CAS3 before with Xprog & UPA original latest software but get nowhere..

So I take the chip off and read with ETL for great accuracy not a pleasure with all the glue under this thin package, done a few now but it is sure slow compared with CAS3 connections & read..

Does anyone have a good file convertor tested from CAS Red box to BIN format and back again ?

Or tested Xprog connections which work, I'm starting to think it's my clone Xprog which is the problem, it goes through security bypass then sits there forever, I'm using a 15 Volt power supply..

Any suggestions appreciated..

xprog bdm programer c+ is better, most china BDM adapter are bad quality and defective lattice firmware.

Anyone doing CAS with China BDM Adaptor ?

Do your self favor and buy Smok HC12 programer .
It will pay it self after second job.
Most amazing thing about it is Mirco Calculator You do not need to read eeprom , put it in other program, adjust km , then write it back.
With Mirco calculator job is done i less then 1 min.

Any one give some feedback on smok?

I need to get some of these later parts covered. Whats the all singing dancing smok programmer like?

mate what sw are you using with (red box cas3 tool)?is it rosfar v9.6 ?if yes then it would be easy to convert files.

Xprog clone works perfect with original C+ adapter, but usualy poarly with china clone.

matarelec I'm using Version 9.2...

What is the difference with 9.6 ?

Is it here on DK maybe I will have a hunt, I guess the Red China Clone works with 9.6?

Just opened V9.6 how is it easy to change to BIN files with this version ?

Is it an option when reading?

I don't have the tool hooked up right now so any info would be great before hand.
