hi my BMW e46 2002 YEAR suddently while i was driving the engine shut off now wont start what is the possible problem?

What kind errors leave after reset ?

Clear dtc and post again and check fuses it looks like ecu problem byt first clear codes and check all fuse maybe some relay that feed ecu.

if this is DME7 xxx xxx - EDC16 the problem is faulty ECU...

Can you not communicate with DME/DDE? There is no diagnostic report for engine. What engine does your car have?
