I was wondering if there is a way to figure out the mileage for this vehicle to get closer than what the TachoSoft calc figures it out to be. The vehicle displayed 66,737 miles and had FF 98 F9 in line 0060
I wanted the vehicle to read 33,455 miles so the Tachosoft gave me FF CB FC, but once powered up the car displayed 33,437 miles. When I type in 33,470 miles to the calc I get the same value. How can I get these vehicles closer to the programmed mileage

NO where in my post was I complaining about the 18 mile difference. I am always looking to learn more and i was wondering if it could be figured out with a hex calc to be closer to programmed mileage. I know I can get some GM vehicle to the exact mile and I was wondering if I could do this with it also.

The bytes above which is "80FF" is count up to 49 km
18 pcs of "80FF" codes equals 18 km
