Hi I have a 2003 BMW x5 I want to do the mileage but can't erase the the 35080 with my xprog m original I did couple weeks ago one works good but this one can do read ok verify ok can't erase some people said to let on for 10 min still nothing I want to buy the codiprog but no answer for 1 week can somebody suggest one but to write in circuit I read a lot of post but I need a good answer is smok work on circuit or not on the web they don't say nothing about in circuit write I will like codiprog cuz they have more options not just the 35080 but I want something to do the job clean and fast thanks guys

SMOK 35080 tool, does not work in in circuit, either read/ or write.
You have to disolder chip.
Did you remove needles and seeing that you have 35080?

If you did not remove needles and you are working on the back of the cluster, it is possible that someone change chip and you have 35080V6 or 080DWQ , which X-Prog can not do it. X-Prog can do only 35080.

Hi thanks for the imput but the cluster was seal I cut the seal unless somebody change the cluster with a new version the only thing is I don't want to take the needle off I rather spend some money and have in the future so I need something good in circuit

I can open seal on the cluster and put it back , you will never know it was open.
So do not count on that.

Plus codiprog does not work on v6 and vp in circuit:

tought that codiprog could erase all m35080 in circuit (see post #70)

Can somebody tell me what kind is the EEPROM vp or 3 or 6 here is the serial nr BMW 62 11-6 942 206 hw25 sw21 but now I see it's made on 18 03 05 so looks like it's 35080vp but the car is from 03 can I buy the clone codiprog I want original but they don't respond looks like they don't want the money :laugh:
