i have a 256mb sd card i had the uk maps on this to start with but to start fresh i have deleted everything off the card its empty .
right what i have done is

copyied the file system to tomtom , should the tom tom have done anything when i added this file ?? as it didnt ?.

then i downloaded navcore/app which would be 8.410 from SE__Navcore.8.410.1218.Basicpack.rar

unzipped it and put the files in a folder then copied the folder to the tomtom , as a folder .with the files in there that i unrared.
restarted tomtom once to create ttgo file

then i went to put the uk map on and the tomtom said there wasnt enought space ?? how comes , have i got the wrong uk map , im only after the uk one .

can anyomne help please
the navcore is - 41.1 MB

United_Kingdom nd_Republic of Ireland 900 4601 is - 41.1 MB

ok, you have 2 options:

1 do you have a bigger sd card ?

2 you need to unzip navcore on pc, then copy the files within the folder to sd root, navcore should be about 23 mb, the system file should be about 4 mb the map 900.4601 is 229 mb which is why out of mem, you could use map uk 900.4608 169 mb, this is not a full feature map thou, but would work on navcore 8.410 and the proper navcore for you tt 300 which is 7.903.

hope this helps

gunners,

clear your sd card and put your back up back on sd card without the map folder.

download this map United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_900_4608 - Download - 4shared (http://www.4shared.com/rar/gl437DWR/United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of.html)

unzip and copy to sd card, download zip file for latest postcodes and unzip and copy the folder zip within the file.

http://www.4shared.com/zip/nQ7KmMlW/900Zip.html

download fastactivate from here Digital Kaos - Downloads - fastactivate 2013 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/satellite/13/fastactivate-2013-2511/)
unzip and copy fastactivate.exe to sd card.
put sd card in totom and start once, then connect to pc and run fast activate from sd card ,patch maps do option 1,2,3,4 in order.

you should be good to go
