Hello,DK mates!
I was trying to remove one key from the immobilizer memory, according Ross Tech.
(Measuring block 001 show 2 keys,but a car's owner have only one)
Immobilizer unit accepted code, but when I refered in a New value field of the Adaptation one key, nothing happened. In Measuring block show 2 keys still. What I made wrong?
Car is VW Touran 2008 year (1T2)
Thank you

Who knows where is second key....Maybe in a thief's pocket. I think :it is important how much keys are stored in the car and how much you do have . I pointed, owner have only one key.

Thanks for response.According Ross Tech in maching keys procedure it's not necessary do adaptation in channel 000 and in this model I connecting to immo unit via immobiliser(25),not cluster (cluster didn't accepting code, "error" message appears). But J362 (immo) is integrated in the cluster

I remember in past I was doing this adaptation (channel 000) on the older models of VAG in key learning procedure and I was doing without channel 000.Everything was OK. But in this one I a little bit scare...If I reset unit to factory status, perhaps a new MEGAMOS CRYPTO CAN 48 chip will be necessary. The car is running and everything OK(except 2 keys in measuring blocks and 1 key in the owner's pocket) and Ross writing it's not necessary.
It looks strange, but when I replaced original chip to new one ID 48 for experimentation, in the measuring blocks in the third field of group 001 was "Yes".It means what chip is suitable. Can be VCD S wrong and suitable chip is CAN 48? I don't have Touran's data of this year in chips table.

VCDS will work for most VAG cars made till 06-2006. After that you have to have different too, like AVDI, SMOK an etc.
