My ECU is BOSCH 038 906 018 P, 0 281 001 720
I need tuning map and can i do that with MPPS Chiptuning v.12

you need to solder and read 2*27c010 plcc eprom and than you can use 29f010 flash eprom...

That xxxxxx018 ecu will not going to be OBD2 friendly :)

you must solder both if you need the original file i can send it for free

I think i have done this version ill check it and send you the tuned file and than write it to 29f010 plcc...

It's mean that I must take out or remove both Chips, and read their maps with some devices like CARPROG for example. If you already have the original file please send it to me.
I'm asking all of you my friends because I'm not sure and I don't know much about ECU Tuning and please some to explane to me the whole procedure for my case, to explane the steps, to be easy for me to follow your instructions. Thank you

In either case you need to remove that chips from your ecu (desolder them).

Then you need to get a couple of 29F010 plcc flash chips.

Then program them with the tuned maps using a flash programmer.

Then fit them to the ecu the way you like, soldering directly, or soldering two plcc sockets and plug the flashes in them.

Hello all. My car is Audi A6 C5 with AFN engine and ECU 038906018DG and I'm aware that I have to do some soldering but I would like if someone could tell me is if I desolder original chips from board and solder back plcc32 socket and than put back those original chips in sockets will my car still work same like nothing happened until I get some tuned chips ?
