I nead to change ecu on focus 1.8tdci 2007 sid202.ecu is dead so costumer bring sid206 from cmax.
Is it enaf to swap eeprom and flash or I must transver data from mpc to.

I guess it will not work. Different ECU, i think sensors and wiring may not be same for both.

Better get another sid202 to fit.

Only sid202 and copy all from BDM !

Hi Igorr, I have similar problem.
We have a crashed focus and lost ecu on the crash. The client bring me a sid202 but i don't know wich one come with the car originally.
When conect the sid202 appears a lot of errors, not present but i'm not able to erase them.

I don't know the difference between sid202 and sid206 but i think that it may change some pins from sensors, and may be the cause of the errors.

Later I need to sync dash with ecu, but i don't know why.
first of all ned the dump of the dash and ecu, modify it and write back.

Anybody can help me?
