Hello members. Couple days ago i did Peugeot 206 2007. all was ok, after correction dash was working perfect. miles down, all needles moving as they shoud. car was driven about 3-4 miles and parked. after 2 days when start car, needles dont move at all. rpm, speed, fuel, temperatureand display shows nothing... any ideas? is it possible dump becomes corrupted after drive of couple miles?

1. I think you have battery problem ... this 206 clusters are very funny when battery fall less then 10V while starting car ... all other will work OK ... just tacho will play with you
2. I don't think that the file is corrupted but did you desolder the eeprom or did you do it in circuit ? once I have problem with Renault Trafic cluster and the problem was in flux that I use to solder eeprom back to dashboard ... when I clean eeprom area all was working OK
..... this Is only my experience with almost same symptom as your dash ... but maybe will help you

today, lad wants to bring car to me again. but it dont starts anymore. i come to car, no immo fault. when disconnect clocks, car starts, but on dash works only lights, needles dont move, no light on display, but if you look close you can see mileage, but somehow miles jumps to 174k, was made 118k, original was 171k... where can be problem cluster or bsi?

mate it depends what flux ur using :)
the ones that say clean it for sure are using cheap ass flux lol
use decent no clean flux ull never have a problem
as the guys say
id double check my soldering
make sure no shorts or dry joints
reflow it if its not too much trouble
then if all else fails id put orig dumps back in
strange tho how its jumped up 3k !!!

Thanks all, got cluster working again. Shit happens, just damaged pcb in two places! when was disassembling cluster, was using some sharp tool, and just cut some circuit lines... Just be very careful when pressing clips all round cluster (photo), they are very tide and close to pcb, and never work when you are sick! better stay in bed...
