I have a clio no feed to no2 injector, traced fault to ecu.

I got a used ecu, magneti marelli IAW 5NR.C2, but how to virginise or what IC do I need to change over? I dont recognise any numbers on the 2 8 leg ones :(

Thanks for any info, ninja

the eeprom on this ones on the small white board on the end (left)

the replacement for this ecu is straight pcb and on that type it can be offed and or virginised for recoding

thanks for the info mate, but I dont understand your pictures, you have all connections terminating under a blob of silicon, and 3 pins numbered on the ic next to white board, then in other pic no connections to this? Can you give me a clue please?

On the second picture is the eeprom replaced with "external" one... I mean the replacement for that one on the white board has been installed and that's under that blob of silicon.

Only pin 1 hasen't been found outside white board ... so in both cases connected directly to the white board.

Ive been to 5 car breakers today, checked 17 different clio 1.2's, and every one of them have this s#!t hybrid ecu fitted.

Was there a specific year/model that the non-hybrid ecu was fitted to?

thanks, ninja

NOT sure but this might do the job......Universal decoding tool for Renault fuel injection ECU (http://www.codecard.lt/immo/renault/universal-decoding-tool-for-renault-fuel-injection-ecu/prod_24.html)
